March 1, 2013 ~ At Sea Day

Our cruise just past it ½ way mark.  Seems like it is going by to fast.
I got up later than usual because there is no Arts and Crafts at 9am this cruise.

I Met Marilyn and Deb in the Lido for breakfast around 930am and we were still sitting there chatting when Marla rolled up on her travel scoot and we continued to chat for another hour.  .   Lots of people known and unknown to Marla holler ~ Happy Birthday to Marla as they pass by.  Today is a good day!

Today is Marla’s birthday and 3 of my Gold Pearl Dining mates have all been secretly planning a birthday bash at our dinner table tonight unbeknownst to Marla.

SnapShot Rally Pictures for Ushuaia are being taken today by MIckeyLive from 1 – 3pm and we all need to get up there in line to get a number between 1 & 75 or our pictures do not make it into the Rally.

They have afternoon tea every day at 3pm in the Gold Pearl Aft and Lorraine (Queen of the Queen) invited several of us to join her.  So off to tea we go.

Deb’s Book exchange is from 4 – 5pm at the back right side of the Lido and I promised her I would come and help today so off I go.  Many people stop by to exchange their old read book(s) for a newer book they have not read yet.  Lots of non Cruise Critic folks on the ship have found us and are using our book exchange services and love it.

Complimentary Drinks and appetizers were being given away in the Spectacular Dining Room today for Past Guests of Carnival but I did not go.  Too many other things to do.

530pm is fast approaching.

Dinner and Debs Birthday party is about to begin.  Deb and Judy went down early and decorated the table.  Deb and I bought a red rose and a Happy Birthday Balloon!  No  one missed the fact that there was a birthday at our table and everyone that past us by coming and going said, Happy Birthday, to Marla.

The show tonight at 8pm was a repeat singers and dancers show called, The Beat.  It was Ok, Mostly older songs I had not heard before.

When it was over we headed back to the Comedy club to see someone do comedy we had not heard before.  And guess what . . .  We all had our blinking Happy Birthday pins on and the first thing they asked was what or pins were for  ~ So I told them it was Marla’s Birthday and EVERYONE in the El Morrocco Punch Liner Comedy club sang Happy Birthday Again to Marla.  And someone  brought her a free drink.  Pretty good, huh?

It is now some where between 1030 & 11pm – and we all have to up early for tours tomorrow – so it is time for some serious bed time.

Goodnight all!
